Katherine Gomes recipient of the Calvin Dillies Scholarship
I am so thrilled to announce that Katherine Gomes from New Bedford High School is the recipient of the annual Calvin Dillies Scholarship sponsored by GiftsToGive. She won the "What Voting Means To Me" essay contest initiated through my Your Vote Is Magic! Program. Her wonderful, profound, insightful essay personified everything that the essay contest stands for. I know my father would be as happy as I am to know that Katherine will always appreciate the impact that voting with have on her life. She is going to make her own magic by pursuing her dream of chemical engineering by attending Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Bravo Katherine!!!
